Xperia Z1 compact mtp

Will support for Xperia Z1 compact (MTP) be added in the next point release of Ubuntu Trusty?
Last time I used Ubuntu I had to use go-mtpfs-unity to connect to my phone, I want to stop using Windows and use Ubuntu forever but then I need to transfer files from computer to phone/micro sd card.

You can write files to micro sd easily. If your system doesn't have a microsd card reader but has an sd card reader you can get an adapter for pennies and it will work. If the file system on the sd card is NTFS then be sure to use the safe remove feature in your OS before unplugging the device physically. This will make the storage be marked as "dirty" and it will work.

Have you tried Banshee / Rhythmbox to transfer files to the audio device?
