More hard drive space for live disc running

I've got a older install disc, Which I'm running as a Live disc. The problem is the Firefox has to be upgraded. When I attempt to do so. An error message of "Not enough disc space", occurs. My question is how do I allocate more hard drive to complete this task, or to achieve more RAM. Thanks

The live disk does not use your hard drive. It simulates a drive in your RAM. The live USB stick has the option to create an image file to have persistance.
If you are using a life Ubuntu regularily, you should use a USB stick sith at least 4GB and persistance, made from a recent iso image.

It doesn't have to be upgraded. It will work as it is. Who told you it "has to" be upgraded?

RE:actionparsnip (andrew-woodhead666) response. It's won't load "Bell .Ca" pages Or Facebook. So I'm assuming some tweaking of some sort has to be done , No??
