Sony Erisson Naite j105i as modem in *ubuntu 14.04

I have a Sony Eericsson Naite j105i cellphone. In *ubuntu 12.04 when I connect at with data-cord it get automatically connected. In 14.04, though the phone shows that it is ready to use as modem but it is not get connected automatically and I myself unable to connect it . Please help. Thanking you - Biplab.

With the phone connected. Run:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; lsusb

What is the output please?
