Yesterday I downloaded the Linux Ubuntu but I want to know if I can use the Ubuntu Desktop edition as a Live CD

Hello..
Yes..

Ubuntu Desktop CD is a Live CD + Installer CD you can use it as a live CD by just popping it into your CD/DVD drive when restarting.. and selecting start or install ubuntu option..

After you burn the cd (See https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BurningIsoHowto for help if needed), pop it into any computer and reboot the computer. Ubuntu will load. After you are done, shut the computer down and remove the cd.
