Hong Hong Chinese glyph not correctly displayed

There is a same issue in Android - https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=33441, is Ubuntu trying to fix it?

Are they not showing right in Ubuntu? How is this Ubuntu related please? Seems the issue is with Android.

Let me show you an example. I did this test on an iMac and a Ubuntu computer. I switch to cangjie input method (cangjie3 on the Ubuntu computer). Then tried to input the glyph "骨".

You can compare the two 骨 by the upper, inside horizontal stroke. People in Hong Kong always write by connecting this stroke to the right. You can see iMac gives the Hong Kong style as the 1st choice. But in Ubuntu, this style is not available to be selected.

This is exactly what being described in the Android issue I linked to.

I don't want to exaggerate the issue, but the style to write the glyph is a part of our local culture. Local educators (especially some so used to use Windows) may dump Ubuntu only for this reason.
