tesseract

I tried to install tesseract 1.03 but I failed. I abode by the instructions (./configure, make, make install) but I received a warning regarding the last command, to avoid it.

Any help?

Hi,

I found an issue on Google but in French.

Maybe you can check the step and try this. It's not seem any problem about this installation.

In your question you said "but I received a warning regarding the last command" I suppose on the "make install" ?
Have you invoke : "sudo" before ? or run it as root user (bad !)
If the previous step "make" return no error, normally you don't have to meet some error after.
