Set my own background in Ubuntu.

Is there a way to set the background of the Ubuntu desktop to my personal pictures?

On most of the recent version of Ubuntu you just click on the wallpaper with the right mouse button and Choose "Change Desktop Background". Then a window opens where you can choose an other one.
