installing minimum size of JDK on Ubuntu trial of 12.04 LTS

When using the TRY UBUNTU option, from the installation Ubuntu 12.04 LTS CD ROM, can the JDK be installed, please? The default operating system of the PC is Windows XP.
I would be most grateful for your kind help..

The Ubuntu installation disks are already oversized (won't fit on a 700MB CD any more) with just essential packages. So I would not expect any initiative to add a Java JDK package (something used by specialists) to the installation .iso file.

But installing it afterwards if you have a network connection by using software-center should be working well.

And in any case the 'Try Ubuntu' mode should be something that you use just once to check if your system is able to run Ubuntu, and whether you like it. You have to be aware that this mode just runs in memory and that you lose everything after shutting down. So what do you think could the JDK do in that context?
