not shutting down properly

i am using acer v5-571, when i hutdown my laptop,it goes well ,but after power off it just restarts again within 5-6 seconds,ultimately to shut it down i have to press th power button at the time of bios loading,

Hello,

probably a bug with ACPI. Check the BIOS for a restart option and disable it. If not exist something, then try to use another kernel.

Test the latest mainline and see if the problem persist

I suggest to open a bug about this problem, and if you test the latest mainline kernel and the problem exist also there, then report this to your bug report.

Last but not least, try to re-install or uninstall or install the current driver for your graphic card. If you want help on this, open a terminal (CTRL+ALT+T) and post here the results of following commands

    /usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test -p

   lspci -nnk | grep -iA2 vga
