Install Kmymoney 4.6.3.tar.bz2 in ubuntu 12.04 precise

I got information that KMM ver. 4.6.3 is better with qif files so I download from KMM web site
Kmymoney – 4.6.3.tar.bz2 and extract, now my problem is the instruction for installation are to
technical for me is there a easier way that I could follow.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:claydoh/kmymoney-daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install kmymoney

Why are you downloading anything without checking for a PPA first....?
