files not locked to "list" mode

In 13.04 when I click on FILES in the launcher the files are presented in GRID format. I have changed them to LIST (which I prefer) but the format reverts to GRID the next time the files are opened.
Is there any way of locking to the LIST format.

I will report a bug.

However, for future reference, when you suggest the reporting of a bug and provide no other comment does that imply that there is no solution to the problem.
