Grub Boot Problem
I resized my /dev/sda1 partition. But after a second resizing attempt the warning appeared as follows:
Moving a partition might cause your operating system to fail to boot. You have queued an operation to move the start sector of partition /dev/sda1. Failure to boot is most likely to occur if you move the GNU/Linux partition containing /boot, or if you move the Windows system partition C:.
You can learn how to repair the boot configuration in the GParted FAQ.

I canceled the second resizing but cannot boot into the system.
Booted using Live CD of Ubuntu 11.10. To fix the problems, reinstalled GRUB and started the grub application from the command line.
The command find /boot/grub/stage1 returns the error Error 12: Invalid device requested. in the grub application.
Kindly advise, if possible how to boot into the system.
