how to replicate two partitions, Ubuntu and Windows 7

Asked by Dov Kruger

I have a bunch of machines (4 types of laptops, all 64 bit, spread across 26 locations), total number approximately 156.

For each type of machine, there will be a windows build, and an Ubuntu build. I know with Windows each machine will be different due to the drivers. I have no idea about Ubuntu, but I'm guessing each build has to be different as well. If there is a way out of
that. Please let me know. I would much rather do only a single install if I could.

So once I have two partitions, /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2, how can I replicate them to all machines? I will have a gigabit switch.
I am aware of ghost, which is proprietary (but which we own) and clonezilla, which is open source and I have never used. If anyone has a recommendation on these or any other tool, it would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS!
