Gcalctool: Recurrent additions exceed input field

Tried to find similar question with an adequate answer with no good... Might this be a bug?
In Gcalctool typed lots (more than thirty) of additions the other day, but when the screen buffer went full the programe did not follow my input cursor anymore: after three rows of additions, any further calculus was not shown and I was typing in blind.
