no software is stable without bugs. You find bugs all over the place but a software is roughly considered stable when it doesn't crash very often and is fine with the hardware. I stress fine not perfect or complete. Imagine if Ubuntu were stable why would you see this bugsquad or bug fixing team in launchpad for UBUNTU?
