I can't remember my password to log on.

i have tried what you have told other people but for some reason i cant get it to work.. like you've told them!

when the grub appears,press ESC and Press e to edit the kernel line.At the very end of the line, add rw init=/bin/bash and press enter, then press b to boot your system.now your system will boot up to a passwordless root shell.Type in passwd <username>. Set your password n finally type in reboot.
