My issue with ubuntu_10.04 liveUSB Is not a bug issue as you have pointed out. So I now consider the bug report closed.

I have through other sources been pointed in the right direction to at least entertain the issue of solving no sound, and wireless connectivity. However I find it a daunting task to make modifications to the kernel in 10.04 and adding the packages and dependencies created by multiple sources like Debian, Ubuntu, and the intel Corp!
