how to repear my ubuntu

i have installed several packs to my ubuntu wich is running on hp dv 2054 ea
the packs seted up are for the graphic card and sound card and bluetooth
i also installed xemacs then after that i restarted my ubuntu
but after uncompression kernel in loading process the system crash down and restart
displaying fatal error ....................
i want to know how to fix that

Try booting from safe mode first. Try booting with without the quit flag. This way, instead of an splash screen you'll see all the messages. Then you post the error messages here and you'll be able to get a better diagnosis or perhaps a solution to your problem.

It sounds like you've loaded a bunch of kernel-modules and one of them is making the boot-process crash. The safe mode won't load all the kernel modules so your system will most likely start up normally. But you can't keep using this: we need to find the kernel module that is causing this issue. Perhaps this way we even post specific bug reports about the hardware/kernel issue and make sure it's fixed for the feature.

Were the packages you installed supported by Ubuntu? Did they have an ubuntu logo with them?

thank you for ur quick response
  in fact i download severl packs ,among them some are about kernel
  but not certified ubuntu and some are
  the problem is im begginer with ubuntu and linux ,i m fed up with windows xp
  wich command line should type in order to know the package responsible for the crash
  if u can help me
