partitions disapear after convert

I have both linux and windows on my computer, after converting two of my partitions from FAT32 to NTFS (through windows) they both disapear on ubuntu.. how can I bring them back?

They are most likely defined in you /etc/fstab as being FAT32 - edit the file and define those partitions as NTFS and they should be mounted ok again.

10q Steve Flynn it worked. to bad ubuntu cant "cut" things etc. with NTFS partitions :\

With edgy you can install ntfs-3g, but you'll have to google around how to enable it in /etc/fstab. I haven't tried it personally. They claim it is stable enough to allow it to write to ntfs partitions, but it's not officially backed by Ubuntu it seems though.
