Python 2.4-minimal fails to update on Edgy Eft Beta in recent update!
I did an update last night and again today to make sure it wasn't me using Adept and fetch updates. Adept currently states I have 54 updates pending. However, when I update, I get an error when dpkg goes to configure python2.4-minimal package. At first I figured all I had to do was run sudo dpkg-reconfigure -a to clear this issue. Even after doing such and answering all questions in the reconfigure with the defaults it still locks Adept up and won't update past the python2.4-minimal package. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
My system is a home built containing the following:
MSI K7N2 Delta2 motherboard
1 gig ram
ATI 7000VE video
1 - 80gig Seagate PATA IDE drive with Windows XP
1 - 120gig Seagate PATA IDE drive with 20gig VFAT partition and 100gig Kubuntu 6.10 partition
Sound Blaster 5.1 Live sound card
