Installing a Dual-Boot with Windows and Ubuntu
Asked by

hello. First, sorry for my bad English. My disc is split to 3 partitions (195 GB, 37,5 GB and 18,6 GB). I already have Windows and some other programs installed on the first partition. 2. and 3. partitions are empty. Now, I try to install Ubuntu to the third partition, but when I come to the partitioning part it asks me how to split partitions. I don't want to split any, I just want to install it to the third or second partitions which are already empty. I've tried to do it manually but it says I should point which partition to use as boot ("/"). I don't know how to do that. Thanks in advance.
