Hauppage WinTV card

Hi all,
I had a sound problem that could not be fixed on my TV card, how ever my
wife is willing to swap her Hauppage WinTV card for my one.
Will a Hauppage WinTV card be compatible with Ubuntu 7.10?
The TV card that gives me problems is a Compro Technology TV card.
But if the Hauppage WinTV card will work then its a swap over.

Unfortunately without knowing which Hauppage card you have, I cannot give you a definitive answer.
