adding fraktur.ttf to open office word processor

I want to add a fraktur font to openoffice. I don't know how to do it. How do I do it?

Hi,

The easiest way to install fonts is to copy them to /home/<username>/.fonts (where <username> is your user name).

1. Go to Places - Home Folder
2. Select View - Show Hidden Files
3. Look for a folder called ".fonts" (the dot at the beginning is important).
5. If it doesn't exist, right-click and create a folder with that name.
6. Double click to go into that folder, and copy the .ttf files into it.

You may need to restart Open Office for it to take effect.
