3rd OS Booting

Asked by Balakrishna

Mine is Ubuntu 9.04 and XP Home dual booting. Grub is "KDE Conrol Module-KGrub" and I have no problem with it. Both are in my 1st HDD[ Weston 160GB]. I added one more HDD[Samsung 500 GB] and installed Windows 7 in it.I tried to add os to Kgrub editor but can not. Below is shown my device map.

balakrishna@Balakrishna:~$ sudo grub-install /dev/sda
Searching for GRUB installation directory ... found: /boot/grub

This is the contents of the device map /boot/grub/device.map.
Check if this is correct or not. If any of the lines is incorrect,
fix it and re-run the script `grub-install'.

Jaunty isn't supported in any way at all. I recommend you upgrade to at least Lucid.

Hi,
I re-installed Grub with Ubuntu 10.10. Now I can boot into all three OS easily with grub. But the only problem is, I can not install KGrub editor- it says, it is not supported. How to modify grub? [To customize background color, os names, boot screen etc]
However, I am not ready to upgrade to 10.10-quite like a fond-of with 9.04.
