BTW - I am just starting out on LINUX. UBUNTU has been great - everything works. When I tried to run Internet Explorer the first time, UBUNTU went an got a package - I do not remember what it was. It still did not allow me to connect to the Internet.

Is there someone in Toronto I can turn to for assistance?

Thanks

Newbie - Jim

You need to try Firefox, it is better than Internet Explorer.
or check the properties of the I.Explorer -> Connections

It depends on what programs you are trying to run in wine you will have to configure wine accordingly. What ru trying to run?
