Tom,

There is typically a button on the keyboard to enable and disable Scroll Lock.

This is typically a hardware feature rather than a software feature; there is often an option in most BIOSes to set whether the laptop starts with Scroll Lock turned on or off.

I hope this solves your problem,

Chris

Thanks Chris--I have tried the bios and all the key combinations I can think of--still in scroll lock on the Unbuntu side--on the Windows side the shift/num lock combo works fine--it was all working well til I closed it up and loaded into the case for transport?? Regards, Tom
