As far as I see, its a DRM protected Audibook from Itunes. Amarok, a KDE media player which is available from the repositories, should be able to read these since version 1.4.0. Hope that helps.

i have Amarok already and when i tried to use it, it said "error loading media There is no audio channel"
I tried to configure it but failed to get sound.

Did you try it with different m4b files? Maybe the file itself is damaged.

Another idea would be to try vlc. Vlc media player has most of its codecs already included, so if the file isn't damaged you should be able to play it and hear something. I just tried it with a random downloaded m4b file and it worked perfectly fine.

It didn't have any sound in VLC. I tried opening it with gxine and got this: DRM-protected Quicktime file
