What does 'expired' mean in Launchpad reporting?

I posted a query re a failure of Rhythmbox on 10.04LTS - the status has now gone to 'expired'; what does 'expired' mean in this context?

Hello....

for Ubuntu questions or Ubuntu bugs on launchpad? Bug reports have a timer if more info is required and there is no further response, they time out. You expired question has an automated comment posted 7 hours ago:

"This question was expired because it remained in the 'Open' state without activity for the last 15 days"

If ya get no luck here... there is also Ubuntu forumns [1] and support on the official IRC channels [2], also filling bugs and/or searching for duplicate bug reports [3] is a good idea and may also get you some resolution from others with the same issue(s).
