How do I find out my CPU speed?

I am trying to find out how do I located the speed of my CPU??

cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep MHz

If you have a multicore system, you will see the speed of each core.

or you can add the "CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor" to your panel this will show you permanent the speed of each core
