Can Ubuntu 10.04 LTS run on Asus A3000?

Asked by Ed Ong

I have an old Asus A3000, and the Ubuntu 10.04 page says it can run on almost any hardware, but much faster on newer ones. What Ubuntu is best for the A3000? I tried installing the 9.04, but to no avail. I am not much of a geek, and I use my computer only for my work and some personal stuff.

alright, i run a brief check of ur lappy, and its true that 9.10 had a bug with asus a3000. it is advised to use lucid 10.04 or if u want to try 1 by 1, start from 8.10, thats the previous Long term stable version.
