Problem with the RAM

I am suspecting there is a problem with my computer RAM. The same problem is causing me unable to install win xp. But this did not cause any problem for ubuntu while installing. Can any body tell me about any ways to know whether my RAM is working fine to its capacity or not in ubuntu.

When you boot, in the boot menu, you can choose windows, ubuntu or a memory test. Leave it runnung.

Use memory test to check whether your RAM works properly or not.
