7.04 Updates: can I copy to/update from CD

I rebuild pc's at a recyle store & load Ubuntu 7.04. Their download speed is terible. Updates may take 2hrs to install off the net.Can I copy Updates to a CD and instal from it?

Updates are downloaded to /var/cache/apt/archives

You should be able to install straight from the Deb's there. I'm not sure if there's a more appropriate solution for what you're looking for though.

Or maybe you want to have a look at APTonCD: http://aptoncd.sourceforge.net/

No stable release there yet though.
