     I suppose it also depends on what type of audio book you have in mind.... there is a page at http://tuxmobil.org/ebook.html with some suggestions. I have tried kabook and found it installs and works fairly well for Linux, but it isn't anything fancy and it works with mp3 books from a terminal command.

A great e-book program available from the Synaptic Package Manager is Calibre.
