pan newsreader settings

Hi,
Just install lucid 10.4 (clean install) and I'm trying to set up pan newsreader to subscribe to the ubuntu users list can anyone remind me of the settings.

when | try news.gmane.org I get this error

Unable to connect to "news.gmane.org":
481 Authentication failed

If anyone can help I would be grateful

hi,

Solved it! in the edit newsgroups menu dont put my user name and password in as this is not necessary!!
