Is there a tool for converting audio files from one format to another?
I have .mpc files and others that I would like to play on my portable mp3-player.

It can work with .mpc files e convert to many other formats.

Hi there i'm a newbie to Linux, i've just installed ubuntu Hardy(i386) on a VAIO VGNT-2XP notebook. i'm dual booting with XP SP3. Everything is working except for the sound. thers's obsoletely no sound coming out, not even system sound. my guess was that i dont have a driver i'm using Intel I82801DBICH4 sound card, also when i try playing music or videos it tells me to install GStreamer codecs of which are not compatible with i386. Is there any library compatible with i386? PLZ help.
