If there is an exchange between the two oper. systems (filetransfer/etc), you could run a antivirusscanner as bitdefender for unices. it scans Ubuntu for windows virusses.

Hi :)

Please don't worry about your English. It seems quite reasonable anyway. I have heard a lot worse in England!

Rather than trying to read this answer it might be better if you post this question again but use your own language. There are translators and people in Ubuntu that know most languages so hopefully someone could help you in your own language.

Please let us know what your best language is and we might be able to help better.

The quick answer is that most native linux anti-viruses are mainly used for finding viruses on Windows. Most of the linux ones can scan other machines over a local network (perhaps other machines in the same house/building). Scanning a Windows that is installed as a dual-boot is usually fairly easy and quick.

Please don't install a Windows anti-virus in Wine. The proper linux ones such as ClamAv are much better. To install ClamAv please get to a command-line
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UsingTheTerminal#Starting%20a%20Terminal
and type in

sudo apt-get install clamtk

this should install the 10 or so packages that make ClamAv work. Then you can run ClamAv from the top taskbar

Applications - "System Tools" - Antivirus

Windows viruses and other Windows malware does NOT work in linux. Even most "cross platform" malware fails to work in linux so you are pretty safe. However you can easily have an infected file that linux would work with quite happily without taking any notice of the infected part. Sometimes linux users accidentally send pre-infected files back into the Windows world. Luckily nothing you create on linux will be infected but if a friend gives you an infected file you might pass that on by accident. Somehow we get the blame when it was not our fault! lol

Anyway, good luck and regards from
Tom :)
