Asked by The Merovingian

When I ask for Ubuntu from the grub menu I get the error message 'no such device 1372ffeb-557e-4db7-a368-282abc263943' on start up. Windows starts OK but not ubuntu. Any ideas folks. Thanks in anticipation

Hi :)

Lets just try to fix 1 thing today! If you are still having this problem then please get to a linux command-line (preferably on a LiveCd) and give us the output of

sudo fdisk -l

where -l" is a lower-case "-L". This would help us guide you through this guide

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
