If it matters, I chose the 5-Gig install, instead of the 16-Gig recommended. I am using small Hard disks because a bad power supply toasted all of my drives a couple weeks ago.

Reboot the computer and you should be able to choose whether to boot to Ubuntu or Windows.

You might have stability issues with only a 5GB disk though. You might have programs close themselves unexpectedly.

Hi :)

With regards to your "toasted"hard-drives please can you try running a LiveCd session?
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCD

This runs without touching the hard-drives at all (or at least not much) and could hopefully be used to have a look at those hard-drives to see if anything is recoverable on them
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DataRecovery

Or to see if there's any chance of reformatting them and re-using them.

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)

Tom,

When I mean "toasted Hard Drives" I mean
1) not detected by Bios
2) no spinning, no heat, no vibration
3) Smoke came out from one of them.

From what research I've done, it seems that I'd need an identical logic board and a torx screwdriver for data recovery. I think it's past the bounds of LiveCD here.

Thanks for the helpful thought, though.

Lol, agreed. I think smoke could be a good indication of it not working
