Download Ubuntu Installer for Windows, Will this Remove Windows?

I have been doing a little research on dual booting. I want to dual boot windows 7 and Ubuntu. I have windows 7 installed. I went to Download Ubuntu Installer for Windows. Will this completely remove my windows 7?

you need to partition your hard drive in half or how ever much you want to allocate for linux. you can do that in windows or during the install. I usually do it in windows, under disk utility, right click on your drive then select shrink partition. after you install ubuntu and you boot up, the grub loader will appear and you can pick what os you wan't to boot.

try this link it will not over write windows it will install inside of windows and you will get an option of which os to boot into.
