does the ubuntu official cd contain 64 bit operating system?

Does the ubuntu official cd that you get by mail contain 64 bit version of ubuntu or do i have to download it and put in on cd?

afaik you can get 32 and 64 bit version via shipit. default= 32bit.

The 64bit version is available for download, but the 32bit version for download or via ShipIt , assuming you want the current releast 9.10

Thanks for your replies, looks like they don't offer 64 bit for shipping right now guess i have to make a cd version.
