Conection error ( proxy )

Hello guys , need a help for tweak to solve a proxy error :

I have tor with polipo installed here, and dont know how, but I changed some config files ( and checked them later to make undo ) here and after that my tweak ( Im running ubuntu 10 maverick ) shows this error on any update :

W: Não pôde encontrar http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/c/compizconfig-python/python-compizconfig_0.8.4-2ubuntu2_i386.deb
  501 Tor is not an HTTP Proxy [IP: 127.0.0.1 9050]

So, I know ( I guess ) i need to erase the proxy line for tweak, to its update directly without using my proxy, but I dont know where is this file...

Please help and sorry for this bad english...

Thanks for your help, I decide to reinstall my ubuntu and solved that problem...
