why don't I receive karma points when I upload .po files directly?

Hello!
I am a member of Linux Mint's Persian translation team,
recently I have started using a local application (poedit) to translate .po files and then upload them onto Launchpad.
But when doing that, I don't seem to receive any karma points.
What should I do?

I think the karma is updated daily. So can you please see what it looks like tomorrow, and let us know whether your karma has been updated.

Hi,
thanks again for your answer.
I just received about 3000 karma points after about five days of regular uploads (about 80-90 items each time) (assuming these karma points are as reward for the translations).
There seems to be a really really really tiny bit of a delay between importing translations and calculating karma points.😂
Yet I still don't quite get how karma is calculated per translation item.
