Translation team for Mari language(Meadow Mari - mhr)

Hello!

I have started a translation team for Meadow Mari language.

Now we have two members. The locale file mhr_RU is already in upstream. And I have asked at rt.ubuntu.com to create an official mailing list for coordinating translation Ubuntu to Mari language (#18008). When this official mailing list would be created it would be an official email address for our team.

And there is a small mistake in Launchpad. In language list there is Mari language with code chm. Mari language is a macro language, it divides into two languages: Meadow Mari(mhr) and Hill Mari(mrj). Out team is focused on Meadow Mari.

If it is possible. Could you please separate Mari language into two: Meadow Mari and Hill Mari.

And the main question: is it possible for our group to start translation Ubuntu to Meadow Mari language? Could you please grant appropriate rights for our team?
