Ubuntu GNOME

NO log out screen in 15.10

I just tired to log out of my session because I keep getting screen tear's every once in awhile while I have VLC open and I tired to log out to see if there was a fall back mode and when I tried to log out this is all I got... I just sat there and sat there I finally had to CTRL ALT F6 and log in as myself then run the STARTX command.

Hi Christopher,

Are you still having this problem? Could you tell me how you installed Ubuntu GNOME? Are you using the main and staging PPA's?

No, I reinstalled Ubuntu and suddenly I got the log in screen back. Why I didnt have it the first time I dont know.

how I installed it was I installed it from https://ubuntugnome.org/
