Ubuntu Touch Documents Viewer wont Install

Asked by camerondtrain

I am trying to install the Document Viewer on Ubuntu Touch. I had it installed before but entered RWMode, and screwed things up. Therefore I reflashed Ubuntu Touch on my Nexus 7 using,

ubuntu-device-flash touch --channel=ubuntu-touch/stable/ubuntu --bootstrap --wipe

This appears to have reinstalled Ubuntu Touch, but I can't install Document Viewer. When I try it downloads to 100%, then says "Download or install failed. Please try again.". I already tried making a different Ubuntu One account, but that didn't help. I also installed the Logviewer app, but couldn't find any relevant information there.

Any help on how to fix this problem would be appreciated.

Hi,

Which version of the OS is installed on your device?
We've recently released an update for Document Viewer, available only for those devices which have been updated to OTA-10.

That's likely the reason why you can't complete the installation.

After updating to OTA 10 the document viewer installed without issue.

Thank you for the help.
