We have done the OS installation and identified that Lenovo ST550 system have matrox mga g200e onboard display card.
Post booting the OS, display goes off from monitor. at the same time we can operate the system through XClarity Controller.

Could you install Ubuntu on the machine and file a bug against the kernel using "ubuntu-bug linux"?

ubuntu server is mostly intended to be run headless as it provides no GUI environment, however, attaching a monitor to the VGA output and expecting a working terminal is not unreasonable.

That said, there are a couple things you can do here for further help. File the bug as mentioned above. The bug, however, may take some time to get triaged and investigated. Alternatively, there are support options that may help as well:
