Feedback on the Dell Precision 7530

Hi there,

I Don't see the Dell Precision on the 18.04 Ubuntu certified hardware list.

I have a customer trying to install it with Nvidia GPU without luck. It hangs on startup.

I am trying to collect more information.

But any hints?

Hi Christian,

You may have to modify kernel parameter “nomodeset” in grub menu.
Please reboot your laptop, you can see the DELL logo, prepare to hit “ESC” key once DELL logo disappeared to enter grub menu.
