Feedback on the Lenovo ThinkPad E560 - Gordon2

Is it really supported by Ubuntu 16.04 lts .
If supported then finger print sequrity featured works?
I am a first year cs student trying to buy a laptop which support linux without any issues.
Please describe.

Hello,
this laptop was certified with 14.04 pre-installed Ubuntu [1]
for fingerprint reader, please refer the to FAQ linked here.
