Feedback on the HP ProLiant DL360p Gen8

Asked by Alfredzo Nash

Hello Ubuntu

I am having a terrible time trying to install Ubuntu 10.04 or 12.04 on my HP Proliant DL 360p G8. Currently, I noticed there is a src for your .deb here http://sourceforge.net/projects/cciss/files/cciss_src_debian/. However this is for i386 arch not AMD64. Additionally, the maintainers of this driver at HP are unreachable. Can you point me in the right direction please?

Thank You

Hello Alfredzo,
Since this is less related to our certification programme, I would suggest you to raise your question to the community at http://askubuntu.com/
or contact HP
http://cciss.sourceforge.net/

BTW, if you're looking for SmartArray driver, this thread might be a possible place to go:

Cheers.
