Feedback on the HP ENVY Pavilion dv6

I am completely unable to get nearly any feature to work in this laptop besides the basic in Ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10.

Wireless lan isn't supported, Sd card reader is not supported, wireless button controls bluetooth not wireless lan, beats audio is not supported.

and finger print reader is not supported.

I have worked on this for 4 days now at about 8 to 12 hours a day. I am not the most privey guy to programming, but I am not slouch eaither. I have gone to many forums and have tried many things.

However, HP claims to have gotten it working, I would like to know how.
